Boys Run Free – Centennial Park

I absolutely love Centennial park in Sydney – it provides limitless fun for kids of all ages :) Not to mention the park has got sooo many gorgeous spots for photos! Here is my favourite area in Centennial park. As you can see the boys love it too! Next time you visit Centennial wander off into the bush behind learner’s bike tracks and you might find this cool tee pee ;)

These two boys were born on the same day and they absolutely love each other, even though sometimes their craziness drives their mums crazy :) For me these photos are a quintessence of childhood and what free energetic 4 year olds are all about. I wish these boys will be in tune with nature and each other for the rest of their lives. Who plays together stays together <3

Balmoral Sunny Spring Wedding

Sarah and Ron’s wedding day took place on a warm sunny day at Balmoral beach. The air was filled with spring blossoms, children’s laughter and splashes.

Sarah and Ron chose to have an intimate wedding with their children and only a few closest friends and family. They picked a picturesque spot for a ceremony and lunch – Public Dining Room at Balmoral Beach. Their daughters read this beautiful poem, which was the sweetest touch to the ceremony.

In Home Maternity Photosession

In-home lifestyle sessions are truly my favourite. Our homes reflect our personalities and are filled with objects dear to our heart. What other place in the world could be better to create meaningful lifelong memories?

Vanessa and Roger wanted to document this magical period in their lives in their beloved home. I can’t wait come back to their cozy nest to meet the little princess <3

Boho Garden Baby Shower

The baby shower for stunning Marcia Leone, founder of NOT SO MUMSY was nothing short of magic. Marcia’s expecting her second baby in just a few weeks and wanted to have an intimate yet beautiful celebration with her closest girlfriends. The party was decorated and styled as a garden boho party by one of the best Sydney stylists and event planners – Jo Kalivas Events and Styling.

Every detail was a treat for the eyes. From the champagne bottles bathing in a golden bath of ice to the gently torched meringue which sit upon the soft velvety sponge below. The beauty didn’t stop at the arrangement, Sydney weather gifted us a warm and sunny day and Marcia’s backyard was an oasis of glimmering sunlight and luscious greenery. Golden and white decor created a worry free and whimsical atmosphere suited for such a joyous event. Guests could make themselves comfortable by sinking into one of many delicately appointed pillows; sipping the ice cold, refreshing juice from a young coconut.

Here is a list of amazing Sydney vendors who brought this boho garden party to life: Delicious grazing table was put together by The Gazing Co. Everyone loved drinking out of the cutest floral coconuts by Kayterco. The cake was created by Martie from Sweet Treats by Martie. Gold acrylic Hey Baby and cake topper were provided by Letters by LouLou and custom HeyBaby lightbox plate by Name It Custom Decor. Macrame backdrop and rug were hired from The Event Stylist. Confetti balloons and assorted partyware by DIYstyle. Glassware and assorted partyware The Party People Shop. Gold champagne bucket and trays by Prop My Party. White rattan stool by The Treasure Room.

Karina & Sahil Wedding at Ripples, Chowder Bay

Sydney and its suburbs are a true goldmine for wedding photographers. Concentration of beautiful beaches, luscious greenery, cozy streets and cafes are second to none. I feel very lucky to work in Sydney as a wedding and family photographer. I feel that way not only because of how beautiful  nature and the actual city is, but because some of the most open, thoughtful and kind people I’ve ever met live here.

This wedding is a proof of all the above. Karina and Sahil are gentle and generous souls, their deep love and respect for each other unveiled in front of me the more I got to know them. They had their first wedding in India in February and this was their second wedding in Sydney. They picked a magnificent spot to get married - Mosman, one of the prettiest suburbs in Sydney. It was a treat to photograph in Chowder bay for the first time. It is a full package for a wedding photographer: picturesque little beach and pier, clean park with lots of pretty vegetation and cute buildings around the bay make it a perfect location for photos.

Karina and Sahil also picked a venue with great views and wonderful atmosphere – Ripples restaurant, just a few minutes walk from Chowder way beach.

I hope you enjoy looking through some of the moments from their big day.

Country Engagement Party in Sydney

It was one of the most fun and beautiful engagements parties I’ve shot in Sydney. Gorgeous venue – Gledswood Homestead and Winery was a perfect location for this country engagement party. Hiding from the rain in an old shack and walking through the vineyard right before the thunderstorm was so romantic and peaceful. It was a treat to return to a cozy and beautifully lit Cask Room for a glass of wine, delicious food and a chat with the loved ones.

Engagement Party at Sydney Royal Botanical Gardens

Sydney Royal Botanical Gardens – is a perfect spot for a celebration! Iconic views of Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge; blooming trees and flower beds; open grassy spaces;  unique cactus garden and dreamy city skyline – all of this make it one of the most wanted venues for many couples.

This engagement party was a complete surprise to Fiona. Hari and Fiona’s family and friends put their heart and soul into creating a truly special day for Fiona and Hari. She was overwhelmed with what she saw and couldn’t hold back her tears of joy.

I suggested to have a walk around the gardens at sunset. I invite you to have a look at a few highlights from this heartwarming celebration. Congratulations to Fiona and Hari to be engaged in one the most beautiful spots in Sydney!

Cozy Winter Session in Sydney

This lifestyle session is all about coziness. The day of the session was Maria’s 31st birthday and we were planning a family session in the golden leaves of Centennial park. However, it happened to be one of those terrible Sydney winter days – blowing a gale with cold, miserable rain. I couldn’t let our plans completely fail on such a special day, so I suggested we shoot on site at Maria’s house and make a session in a place where her family spend most of their time.
I must say, lifestyle sessions at your home are very special. This the only place where you feel completely relaxed and your true self. The place in its own tells the whole story about you and your family – every detail has meaning and a reason to be there.
At first thought it could seem like an unexciting place to have photoshoot, yet years later when you might move houses, cities or even countries and your kids grow up, it will be a magical feeling to return to those times, and relive those moments when you were young and your children were small; to see what your house looked like, to feel again what you felt back then and ponder on how time flies and reflect on what you’ve achieved and how much you’ve changed since.

Sunshine in My Pocket

The most wonderful part of my job as a professional photographer is not actually taking pictures of people, it is listening to their stories. Every single person I’ve met in my life taught me something. It is truly important for me to connect with a person and  hope that their story of life, love, dreams, struggles and success speaks through pictures. Please don’t ever be afraid to open up and let others fall in love with you.

This family traveled the world and Australia in a camper van. They’ve been searching for a place they could call home for many years before they found it in Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
