Rise and Shine Mother’s Day Sessions 2017

MOTHER’S DAY special for those who love cuddles and bed hair! Celebrate motherhood by documenting the best moments with your little ones. Every mother should have photos like these <3 Get it done while they’re still little and smoochable :)

Being a mother myself my favourite part of the day is morning. I love when my son comes to our bedroom for morning cuddles. Even though I don’t look my best at that particular moment, I feel absolutely the happiest and that’s what true joy of motherhood is all about. So, get comfy in your pjs and enjoy a homemade babiccino or a cup of morning tea this autumn!

These sessions are for Sydney mums only and will be held in the comfort of your own bed :) How good is that! You don’t even need to get out of your house, I’m coming your way!

There are only limited number of Rise and Shine sessions available, please contact me asap to find out more and book your spot anna@annamurrayphotography.com.au or call 0447267089

Winter Mood Family Session in Centennial Park

Centennial park is always gorgeous, but especially on one of those winter days, when the air is crisp, the sky is blue and the sunset is golden and quiet.

This little gorgeous family was so much fun to photograph! Olivia is a little angel. She was smiling all the time and I think we really clicked :) She loves dogs, birds and horses and there were plenty of animals to watch in Centennial park.

What can I say, beautiful people combined with a beautiful location is a winning combination!

Cozy Winter Session in Sydney

This lifestyle session is all about coziness. The day of the session was Maria’s 31st birthday and we were planning a family session in the golden leaves of Centennial park. However, it happened to be one of those terrible Sydney winter days – blowing a gale with cold, miserable rain. I couldn’t let our plans completely fail on such a special day, so I suggested we shoot on site at Maria’s house and make a session in a place where her family spend most of their time.
I must say, lifestyle sessions at your home are very special. This the only place where you feel completely relaxed and your true self. The place in its own tells the whole story about you and your family – every detail has meaning and a reason to be there.
At first thought it could seem like an unexciting place to have photoshoot, yet years later when you might move houses, cities or even countries and your kids grow up, it will be a magical feeling to return to those times, and relive those moments when you were young and your children were small; to see what your house looked like, to feel again what you felt back then and ponder on how time flies and reflect on what you’ve achieved and how much you’ve changed since.

Sunshine in My Pocket

The most wonderful part of my job as a professional photographer is not actually taking pictures of people, it is listening to their stories. Every single person I’ve met in my life taught me something. It is truly important for me to connect with a person and  hope that their story of life, love, dreams, struggles and success speaks through pictures. Please don’t ever be afraid to open up and let others fall in love with you.

This family traveled the world and Australia in a camper van. They’ve been searching for a place they could call home for many years before they found it in Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

Childhood Friends

Noosa main beach is a magical setting for any photoshoot. I feel warm and fuzzy and a little bit sad looking at these photos. They make miss my old friends and worry-free times I long for in adulthood.

Anisa’s Carnival – Birthday Party in Sydney

I’ve worked as a family and wedding photographer in Sydney for the last three years, photographing different types of private and corporate events; and I must admit that Joanne’s parties are the most exciting and fun to attend! Joanne is the mother of three, and a brilliant visionary and organiser. She never ceases to surprise with truly spectacular parties! I admire her for the bold ideas, open  heart and for how passionate and talented she is.

Anisa turned 6 and the celebration was amazing! Both kids and adults had tons of fun. And I just hope that one day Joanne can organise one of my parties.

Enjoy the photos!

Loving Family at Balmoral Beach

Little Alexander turned one and it was a great occasion to take fun family pictures at one of the most beautiful beaches in Sydney!

Little Autumn Princess

This adorable 4-months old beauty had to be ‘kidnapped’ to take these pictures :) This photoshoot was a surprise for mum and dad organised by Sophia’s sweet and caring nanny.

I hope the prints will be a good memory of how cute and precious Sophia was on her first glorious autumn!

Aydin’s Native American Themed Party

Organised by Joanne Kalivas, a loving mother and a brilliant organiser with immaculate taste and attention to details, Aydin’s 2nd Birthday Party was a dream to witness and document.

Even though the party was interrupted by rain, you could never tell because of the bright, friendly and relaxed atmosphere created by Aydin’s family. Adults were enjoying the conversation and delicious food, and children were entertained with games, music and face-painging by very funny Mario and Emily from Pistachio Entertainment.  In the end everyone was invited to cut the cake and enjoy this absolutely stunning candy bar – just have a look!

The cake, cookies and macaroons are by Cake Candy

Personalised chocolates by Cookie Queen Kitsch’n
